Through My Eyes is an exhibition built from a DoinGud Community Open Call. 

Diverse Creators from around the world were selected to share views of their realities and reflections of who they are, connecting us to their preferred methods of self-expression. This exhibition is intended as a positive gathering of Creators dedicated to generating change by leveraging the possibilities new technologies enable for responsible creation and consumption.

The #DoinGud17SDGs Project brings together 17 diverse creator communities from all over the world to support each of the United Nations 17 Sustainable Development Goals. The SDGs are in place to radically improve all aspects of human life on this planet. This exhibition is focusing on making a difference, one creation at a time.

Linnea is a wonderful person. She's a free spirit currently studying theatre & dance. We only got to know each other due to her being my cousin's best friend in their childhood. My cousin connected us so that I could give her some tips for her upcoming journey through Portugal. Two months later we met in Germany, going on a spontaneous canoeing trip and talking about our travel experiences in Portugal. This along with an exciting reference motivated me to draw LinNe@. 

What I found interesting was the extreme contrast of dark and yellow. Applying my style to a different set of colours while also trying out a non-frontal perspective was great to freshen things up. 

LinNe@ was drawn with a variety of fineliners - yellow, orange, red, grey and black. It's been drawn on paper and accompanied me on my travels through Europe back in 2020. 

It's being sarried around in my art folder that has seen a solid part of the world already

SEE Turtles helps sea turtles by help supporting important nesting beaches around the world, working with the tourism industry to end the turtleshell trade, getting plastic out of sea turtle habitats, & promoting inclusivity in the turtle community.

Birds and Galahs in particular are synonymous with freedom for me. Galah’s are raucous, mischievous and irrepressible characters of the Australian bush who live loudly, where and how they please. As a disabled artist with mobility issues I can escape the confines of my cage with them and soar through the wide blue skies, a screech announces their arrival and I revel in that golden moment of unlimited imagination.

Rainforest Foundation US works in partnership with indigenous communities in Central and South America to support their visions for protecting their ancestral lands and fighting the climate crisis.

Trees for the Future is combatting poverty, hunger and climate change by training farmers in regenerative agriculture - what we call the Forest Garden Approach.

Incomplete, its a photograph inspired by the hugs that we have not given ourselves, it was captured during the quarantine stage in Cuba and I repeat, inspired by those hugs and caresses that we could not give ourselves because of the pandemic, because of the distance with friends, family.

The protagonists of this photo are the creators and dancers of the dance company The Concept, and this photograph was a finalist in the Alicia Alonso International Photography Contest in the category of Landscape Dance.

Incomplete, a memory for the hugs and affections that we could not give each other.

Water Scarcity

Scarcity is part of #DoinGud17SDG exhibition titled "Through Your Eyes", and the first NFT release for Puerto Rico-born artist Joanna Caraballo Serrano. 

Scarcity was taken in 2015 in sub-Saharan Africa in the Atlas Mountains, Morroco. The idea behind Scarcity is simply to promote access to water, showing communities who are suffering from time-lost gathering water, limiting people’s truest potential, especially women and girls. 

Access to water leads to food security, and access to health and education, breaking the cycle of poverty in communities.

Taken at more than 7000ft of altitude on top of the Whistler Mountain in British Columbia, Canada. 
Arctic wind and snow combined to create a surprising ice sculpture of a screaming face. 
Part of the pygmalion collection from Thomas Brodin, an award-winning photographer who gives sense to the non-sense, recomposes the decomposed, pulls together the plasticity of the elements, and gives nature and reality a romantic dimension.

Whistler Wind

The artwork incorporates a blend of culture and styles to promote equality regardless of gender and nationality. The metaphorical use of riding a skateboard as a sport or hobby should be considered equal for all genders and the cultural influences on the patterns convey that we live in a global world where we should break and shatter stereotypes and perceived boundaries.

Originalmente, esta obra fue una pintura al óleo que pinté en el 2006 y luego de varias exposiciones sufrió daños que la dejaron si posibilidad de ser exhibida de vuelta.  
Lo único que me queda de ella es una imagen digital, que la sometí a algunos retoques para recrearla y  hacerla resurgir desde otro formato no-físico, como una alegoría del Ser que se emancipa del cuerpo físico.
El soporte de la obra ahora es otro y habita espacios infinitos que no están delimitados por un soporte físico.

"Starting points" (Puntos de partida) is the first collection of Metamorphosis NFTs. It consists of nine works divided into three groups,
this work belongs to "Aurora and East" (Aurora y Oriente).

Oceans cover two-thirds of Earth’s surface and support a dazzling diversity of life forms. Uneven surfaces, shiny textures, and round geometric forms represent the astonishing evolution of marine species and the infinity of water circulation on the Earth.

Meditative artwork offering an animated representation of the sacred symbols sculpted in Abbeys of Aquitaine (FR). In the final filmstrip symbols representing humans, animals and plants, blend into kaleidoscopic mandalas of light reminding of the interconnectedness of realm. 

Project Naturellement Sacré invites to reflect on the state of amnesia which affects our time and which haunts our future: we forgot the sacredness of the relationship between Culture and Nature.
