What I Need

"What I Need" was inspired during the George Floyd protests. This song & visual is an overall representation of my feelings being a black man in the world. A song mixed with emotions, touching on hope, frustration, defensiveness, introversion & higher expectations. In the video I highlight hip hop culture in ways that is meant to challenge the average consumer & artist. Reflecting how we see our women, how we choose to deal with our problems & how we approach the world. This is a call to be open about your needs, to protect your peace & to fight for what you believe in.
